These two goals, along with his goal in the 4-0 victory against Dover Athletic, were put up for Aldershot’s 2019/20 Goal of the Season, and alongside winning Dartford’s Goal of the Season award in 2020/21 shows that the former Palace man is capable of the spectacular.

At Dartford FC Jacob scored 8 goals in 26 appearances and put in a number of outstanding performances to help transform Dartford from a mid-table outfit into league title challengers, before the season was curtailed in February 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

He made his international debut on 13th July in a CONCACAF Gold Cup group match defeat against Honduras before representing his country against Qatar and Panama.

Widely considered one of the best young talents in non-league football, the return to Aldershot Town offers Jacob a chance to remind everybody of his undoubted quality, in what will be a very competitive league this season.

Joseph Boachie Wyan Reid to Concord Rangers.png

Future Global Sports clients Joseph Boachie and Wyan Reid have completed moves to National League South competitors Concord Rangers for the 2021/22 season.

Boachie, 23, is a dynamic and exciting forward who starred for Loughborough University and Stamford AFC, where he was named in the 2018/19 Evo-Stik Team of the Season after a string of eye-catching performances.

Joseph’s performances for Stamford saw him invited in to trial with Championship club Birmingham City in 2019, while other Football League clubs also showed concrete interest before injury put paid to Joseph’s progress.

Boachie is an intelligent and creative left-footed attacking midfielder / number 10 with the physicality and athleticism that suits the modern game. He has good vision and technique, and can also play on the left wing or as a striker. Operating between the lines he drops deep and can run at defences or play through balls to open up opponents. He joins Concord Rangers after a successful trial spell.

Reid, 21, is an exciting right-sided wing-back / winger who emerged through the academy at Aveley FC and went on to make more than 56 appearances for the club.

Reid was a key member of the Aveley team that broke records, becoming the first side in the club’s history to reach the FA Trophy quarter finals, a feat which earned them a trip to play Notts County in 2020.

Reid came through Aveley’s double-winning Reserve side in 2018, and was named Reserve Team Player of the season for a string of excellent performances. He broke into the first team that season and made 11 appearances, before taking the number 7 shirt and making it his own in 2019/20 with 40 appearances, 6 goals and 4 assists from wide right.

In total Reid made 56 appearances for Aveley, clocking up 7 goals and 9 assists. A brief spell at Brentwood Town also followed, and Reid makes the step up to the National League South for the first time to join the Beachboys after a series of impressive performances in pre-season.

Both players are young and hungry and will be looking to establish themselves at step 2 this season in what is an exciting Concord Rangers side.

We wish Joseph and Wyan every success this season!

Reid, 21, is an exciting right-sided wing-back / winger with a strong body of experience in non-league senior men’s football for Aveley FC, a club at which he emerged through the academy and went on to make more than 50 appearances.

A brief spell at Brentwood Town also followed.

Wyan now makes the step up to National League South level in the 2021/22 season after we concluded a deal for him to join an exciting young Concord Rangers team that got to Wembley last season in the FA Trophy Final.

At Future Global Sports we believe that Wyan has a lot of untapped potential with his raw pace, direct running and ability on the ball.

With hard work and a hunger to improve all elements of his game we feel Wyan can not only prove himself at National League South level but show that he is a potential Football League player in the making. We are excited to help offer our guidance and expertise in this area to help take his game to new levels.

Future is Wyan!

Future Global Sports launches first annual Under-23s Talent ID Report

For more than five years Future Global Sports have been market leaders in the non-league market, identifying, working with and helping to develop the top young talents in non-league football.

Our detailed and innovative approach to non-league talent identification has seen us identify more than £10 million* worth of talent in the semi-professional leagues of English football, finding and working with players such as Sorba Thomas (Boreham Wood to Huddersfield Town), Priestley Farquharson (Hayes & Yeading, now Newport County), Sam Barratt (Maidenhead United to Southend United), Ricardo German (Hendon to Crawley Town), Cody Cooke (Truro City to St. Mirren) and many others.

On top of this we have also scouted and recommended players such as Max Kilman, Max Watters, Jamal Lowe, Omar Bogle and Jonah Ayunga - players who we discovered early in non-league who have now gone on to established clubs at very high levels including the Premier League and Championship.

Our unique ability to find talent in the semi pro game is now expanding as we turn our focus to academy football with the release of our first annual Premier League U23s Talent ID Report.

The document provides information on every player at Under-23 level in both Premier League and PL2 academies, offering you the chance to gain a significant edge in finding key information on the best young players coming out of academy football.

The report comes in the form of a database with information on every single player at more than 26 professional Under-23 academies in English football from age 17 to 23, including PL2 Divisions 1 + 2 and other teams such as Charlton Athletic U23s and Watford U23s.

Every player in the report has been watched on at least one occasion, with detailed information and evaluation of the player, contract status and our own scout report observations and projections.

By working with Future Global Sports. we can you offer access to our database as well as bespoke data and scouting information on players who can help your club reach new levels. This complements our unique ability to identify talent at non-league level, which continues to go from strength to strength.

Future Global Sports launches manager database to raise profile of unsung coaches

Manager of the Month.jpg

It is quite rare for upcoming managers to get the recognition their hard work deserves. Particularly at semi-pro / non-league level, there are numerous unsung coaches doing fantastic work that goes unnoticed, usually due to a lack of media coverage and focus on this level of football.

Despite this, some of the games’ top managers began their careers at this level, including the Cowley brothers and Chris Wilder, who climbed all the way from the lower regions of non-league step 5 (at Alfreton Town) to the Premier League with Sheffield United.

With this in mind Future Global Sports is pleased to announce the launch of our Coaches Collective - a Coaches and Manager Database that will showcase upcoming and unsung managers in the lower levels of English football to key decision-makers and stakeholders within the game at professional level.

The database is free to join and will allow you as a manager, coach or chief scout to register your details and have your progress monitored more formally.

By registering and joining our Coaches Collective you will have the opportunity to be shortlisted for vacant coaching or managerial positions at clubs around the UK, Ireland and abroad, showcase your managerial credentials and receive another way to get your achievements recognised.

The Collective is free to join - simply fill in your details including level of coaching or scouting qualifications - and join us to increase your chances of being recognised for your hard work.

The Collective is also available to scouts and recruitment professionals within football who are interested in registering to get noticed by chairmen / chairwomen, sporting directors or heads of recruitment looking to attract new staff.

To join our exclusive database and raise your profile among directors, chairmen and others within the game register for free now at: bit.ly/fgscoachescollective

Once registered your details will be lodged and you will be considered for suitable vacant roles that may arise from time to time. For further information you can also contact us via email: contact@futureglobalsports.com or Twitter @futglobalsports.
